O.K. so the Bride-to-Be may be a little more excited and enthusiastic about planning the Big Day as tradition tells you that most women dream about their “Big Day” since they were a little girl (not sure if this is true but there’s nothing wrong with tradition!). That does not mean that the Groom-to-Be sits back, waits for his stag party and turns up on the Wedding day. It is equally important for the Groom to look his best. Granted, he doesn’t have to do a tour of all the bridal shops to find an outfit that fits exactly, has the perfect flattering shape to it etc., but you don’t want to let your Bride down and look back in time to come and say “What was I thinking ?” If you need to shed a few pounds now is the time to it. You don’t have to exercise like your training for a triathlon but you will feel and look much better once your goal has been achieved. Possibly this is something that both yourself and your B2B can do together. Weight lost quickly will return just as fast and more often that not it will bring some new friends too!! Slow and easy does it - you never know you might actually enjoy yourself.
To dress properly you need to be honest with yourself, know your shape and what suits you best. Your Wedding Day is not the day to try and wear something funky that you haven’t worn before. Stand in front of a full length mirror and be totally honest. Are you happy with what you see ? If the answer is a resounding Yes, good for you you’ll have no problem finding a suit to fit and choose your colour scheme to match with your Bridesmaids. If the answer is No, or if you have to pull in that tummy/beer belly keep reading……..
