Speaking in an interview on 'Tonight with Craig Doyle', the sports star said: "We had our pre-marriage course during the week."

"We didn't go for the weekend course - we had the condensed version. I'm genuinely glad we did it, I went in with an open mind and got a few things out of it"

He also said: "We had our food tasting last weekend in Lough Rynn... It was strange - all these hors d'oevres arrive out and you can only have a nibble of each because you know there are so many more courses coming."

"I'm not really worried about the food - but there's a need for a bit of soakage!"

He also joked that his fiancée Amy Huberman was planning to write a letter to the Australian team ahead of his rugby tour there, just before his wedding in July.

O'Driscoll said: "I'm only home five days before the wedding. Amy's thinking of writing a letter to the Australian team saying 'Don't touch the face!'."
