Dundrum Town Centre Celebrates 5 Fabulous Years!

To celebrate Dundrum Town Centre’s 5th birthday today February 22nd, details of The Fabulous €50,000 Goodie Box Giveaway were announced. On March 6th 2010 one Dundrum Town Centre customer will walk away with a whopping Dundrum Town Centre goodie bag worth a staggering €50,000.
 
A giant Perspex box full of goodies representing prizes for over 50 retailers was unveiled this morning. From a private cinema screening for over 100 people with Moveis@Dundrum to a Milano’s pizza making party, from lots of fashion to a stunning Tipperary Crystal chandelier from House of Fraser, from a luxury 5 star Jamaican holiday with Cassidy Travel to a year long Educo gym membership – Dundrum has it all wrapped up!! Don Nugent, Dundrum Town Centre Director said today “We are delighted to be celebrating our 5th birthday, having welcomed in excess of 75 million customers since we first opened our doors. Dundrum Town Centre opened its doors to the public at 9am on March 3rd, 2005 and since then the Centre has been acclaimed around the world winning 35 awards including European Shopping Centre of the Year (2001) and International Shopping Centre(2006). With 1.25 million sq foot of retail and leisure space and over 3000 car parking spaces, Ireland premier shopping centre continues to buck prevailing retail trends by increasing footfall year on year.
 
To mark the Centre’s 5th birthday and the Fabulous 5 competition Dundrum Town Centre has teamed up with Dublin’s 98 who are so excited they’re moving their station to the Centre for the next two weeks! Chris Doyle, Chief Executive of Dublin’s 98 said at today’s launch “what better way to celebrate your birthday than by giving away a gigantic present! We are delighted to team up with Ireland’s premier retail and leisure competition”.
 
A montage of 5 famous faces will be placed on the mall every day with the corresponding famous voices played on air on Dublin’s 98. Just guess one of the faces or voices to be in with a chance of winning this fabulous life-changing prize. Two finalists every day (one from the centre and one from radio) will go forward to the grand finale that will be held in Dundrum Town Centre on Saturday March 6th where the very lucky winner will walk away with the entire contents of the giant perspex box worth over €50,000.
