Heartbroken Heather Mills has last night admitted that people taunts that she only married Sir Paul McCartney for his money have been worse than losing her leg in a traffic accident in1993.

Former model Heather who is 25 years younger than Paul, said the allegations she was out to get her hands on Pauls cash were 'devastating'. She has sai that 'I have learnt that peace of mind has very little to do with luxury of leisure'.

Friends close to Paul have said that he drew the line after a string of bust ups. He was seemingly fed up with endless arguments and Heathers bossy behaviour.

They both accept they tried to save their marraieg but after spending three weeks living apart they realised there was no way back
