Reformed party girl Meg Mathews embarks on health kick as she prepares to wed again
It seems Meg Mathews has come a very long way since her days as the hard partying queen of the Britpop scene.
The former wife of Noel Gallagher, who once loved nothing more than tearing up the town with fellow hell-raisers Sadie Frost and Kate Moss, has embarked on a rather serious health kick. The reformed party girl, 43, was spotted in the throes of a vigorous workout yesterday with her personal trainer in London, who certainly put her through her paces with a combination of strength training and cardio.
She first began exercising regularly around two months ago, according to a source, and is now also a devotee of the Power Plate, dubbed the 'miracle' machine.
Madonna, Claudia Schiffer and Natalie Imbruglia are also fans of the vibrating platform, which manufacturers claim offers the same benefits of an hour-long sweaty gym workout in just 15 minutes. She is of course eager to be in great shape for her wedding to art professor Peter Sidell next year.
She accepted his proposal on top of the Empire State Building in New York during a break with Meg and Noel's nine-year-old daughter Anais in May.
