Not in a million years.......... the things people do to get into the papers!
Viktoriya Shtefano wore a wedding dress her new husband, Valentyn, made out of flour, eggs, sugar and caramel in the western Ukrainian city of Uzhhorod.
The dress, made of 1,500 cream puffs and weighing 20lb (9 kg), took the 28-year-old baker two months to make.
Shtefano is fast becoming a rising star in the mostly empty Ukrainian field of baking, earning him a devout following in the city. His creations have generated a buzz in a place where cake is often layers of heavy cream, wafers and nuts or poppy seeds. Shtefano, his fingernails permanently stained with food colouring, is eager to introduce new sweets to the city of 125,000 people.
He took a three-month baking course in Paris and entered an international baking competition last year with his sister, who lives in Paris. They made a 2ft-long 1920s Cadillac from cream puffs and caramel, winning third place.
The wedding dress is now in the newlyweds’ cramped apartment, until it can be displayed in a shop.
I can't even begin to think what the smell in there must be like
