The latest edition of Weddings Irish Style has a nice summery feel with a stylish front cover.
At this stage in the wedding planning process, I've already seen so many pictures of bridal gowns that overall, I found the magazine best for the useful articles like the heavenly honeymoons and advice on how to choose the wine for the big day.
Of course this being said, all the pictures of gowns were great... the 'short and sweet' dresses looked fab - but then again, few could argue that anything remotely Audrey Hepburn style wouldn't look great !

Weddings Irish Style Summer 2006 REVIEW
This Summer there’s a feast of ideas and tantalizing features in Weddings Irish Style. The ‘bridal notebook’ has advice and tips for shoes, accessories, tanning products, stationary and even cold sores. There’s a generous helping of beauty and skincare news where the latest products are tested while at the same time keeping the old reliables. These pages are a must read for every woman whether you’re involved in planning a wedding or not!
No wedding stone is left unturned in this Summer edition and we’re treated to features on jewellery, beauty spas, speeches, formal invitations, gifts, and wines and, as always, all the latest wedding dress styles. My favourite read of this edition was the feature on honeymoons with its beautiful photographs and tempting descriptions. It shows us another side of Italy, which might not always occur to people when planning their wedding.
Of course there’s the heavenly destinations from all over the world and there’s so much information packed in that at the end it almost leaves you in a spin of indecision. So many beautiful places but where to go? The icing on the cake is the wardrobe feature that follows where the nightmare of packing for the honeymoon is broken down into ten easy steps.
