The hotel is located right in the heart of Dublin City Centre, oppostite St.Stephen's Green Park.  The park is a super location for intimate wedding pictures which will ensure your memories are captured of your special day.  Celebrating 185 years this year, the hotel is Dublin's favourite hotel.  Home to the famous Horseshoe bar, the award winning cocktail bar, No.27, it's Steak and seafood restaurant, The Saddle Room and the Lord Mayor's Lounge where traditional afternoon has been served for 185 years, The Shelbourne offers a wonderful choice for your family and friends to enjoy.
 
Whatever wedding style you choose, The Shelbourne has the perfect room for your special occasion.  Red carpet will guide you and your guests into one of our beautifully appointed banqueting rooms magically set to your specific requirements.  The Great Room can seat up to 350 guests with a stage and dance floor.  It is a beautifully appointed room located in one of the oldest parts of the hotel, with it's receptions rooms overlooking St. Stephen's Green.  The Adams Suite is perfect for a smaller more intimate reception, seating up to 80 guests including a dance floor.  The Shelbourne does also have one of Ireland's most historical rooms, The Constitution Room, where Ireland's Constitution was drafted in 1824.  This is a very elegant room for wedding of up to 24 guests who would be seated at the original table and chairs, taking a step back in time.
 
The hotel has it's own dedicated Event Manager looking after your wedding who will be with you every step of the way ensuring every detail of your special day is taken of to perfection.  They will get to know you on a personal level, anticipate your needs and help with your important decision.
 
The hotel's Executive Chef and culinary team offer a superb choice of wedding menus packed full of culinary delights and fine wines for your to choose.  Using only the finest in locally sources seaonal ingredients, each is prepared with authenticity, passion and pride.
 
Your Event Manager and our Executive Chef will personally take you through all the options to ensure you choose the perfect menu for you and your guests to enjoy on your wedding day.  We also offer a personal menu tasting for up to four guests prior to the day to ensure that your menu is exactly right.
 
Your Event Manager will also assist you in choosing the right style for your reception, whether it might be a very traditional elegent wedding or something modern and stylish, along with offering suggestions for music, flowers, bands and many other aspects connected to making the planning of your big day as seamless as possible for you'
